We are delighted to invite you to an insightful lecture and interactive session with Mr. Imran Sikandar Baloch, a distinguished civil services official and former Secretary of Education, Punjab, Pakistan, who also has an extensive experience working with Asian Development Bank (ADB) and other development organizations. Mr. Imran has led impactful education reforms and is renowned for his extensive work in developing and implementing public-private partnership (PPP) models to enhance educational access and quality.

This event offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with a global policymaker as he explores the vital role of research in shaping education policy and reform efforts. Mr. Imran will discuss a pioneering case study: how the Punjab Education Foundation’s PPP model successfully enrolled over 2.6 million vulnerable children in schools. He will cover topics including the PPP model’s structure, local stakeholder engagement, governance mechanisms, and the key factors behind its success.

Moreover, Mr. Imran will address the potential for adapting this model to other country contexts, such as Nigeria, where he is currently engaged as Strategic Advisor on Education PPPs, and the critical role of qualitative research in contextualizing and scaling education programs across diverse environments.
